First day:
7:30 am - Breakfast in La Ponderosa Restaurant in Guapiles.
8:00 am - A visit to a banana plantation
10:30 am - Arrival at the Cañ Blanco dock where the tour of the canals starts.
12:30 pm - Lunch in the El Tres Restaurant on the shore of the Tortuguero Canal.
1:30 pm - A visit to Tortuguero National Park ($6 extra entrance fee)
Afternoon - To your hotel

Second day:
After an exquisite breakfast you'll go on a much more extensive canal tour
Return to your hotel

Third day:
Morning free or take an optional additional tour at $15 per person
In the afternoon you'll head back to San Jose, arriving about 4:00 pm.
Bring: camara, insect repellent, towel, rain cape and comfortable hiking clothes
