Day 1/ Panama City - Punta Patiño - Gulf of San Miguel - Piedra Candela Trail

• Transfer Panama City - La Palma (capital of the Darien Province)

• Accommodation at Ancon Lodge

• Lunch at the Ancon Lodge

• Hiking tour at the Piedra Candela trail and learn about the tropical dry forest.

• Short walk in search of the Capybara (the world's largest rodent and the northernmost range being Panama), owls, caimans, and other nocturnal species.

• Night at Punta Patiño Lodge

Day 2/ The Embera People of the Mogue River

• Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

• Visit to the Mogue Village and meet the Embera People and learn about their culture and traditions. Also, you can buy their beautiful handicrafts that are made from natural materials.

• Coastal tour of the reserve and the sea bird’s nesting areas of El Morro.

• The afternoon is open to continue exploring the area surrounding the lodge, enjoy the view from the second floor veranda or take a siesta in one of the hammocks or at your cabin.

Day 3/ Punta Patiño, Gulf of San Miguel - Panama City

• Breakfast.

• Transfer Mogue Village - La Palma - Panama City - Hotel.
